5800 XpressMusic firmware update help

    Hi. I have the nokia 5800 xpressmusic (red) with v.11. I haven't updated the firmware yet, and then I read about the new firmware (v.20). The problem is that u can't update ur phone to v.20 over the air (using the phone) and when I turn on Nokia Software Updater, it says that "Nokia Software Updater has attemted to connect to the internet but has failed three times" even though my internet is on. Also, it says that it might have something to do with the firewall but nothing is wrong with it. Could someone help me by telling another way of getting the update?

    Hi. By NSU do u mean Nokia Software Updater? if it is, then i have downloaded it and it's having problems. That's what i was talking about in my first post!!!

    To Stenbob,
    the phone number doesn't really have anything 2 do with it. What i did was, i downloaded Nokia Software Updater and installed it. When itfinished, it said that u have to restart ur computer. You HAVE to restart it for the program (NSU) to work. Then i just connected my phone to my computer and clicked update. Ta-da!

    Hi all . I have had the same problem when i try the update using the nsu it tells me the software version is up to date and i had V.11 . i now have V.21 thanks to the local nokia repair centre. also the software versions are restricted to the networks.
