I just got a hp pavilion pc here are all the specs

Processor Number: 5000+ with LIVE Technology
    Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
    Bus Speed: 2.0 GHz
    L2 Cache Size: 2 x 512 KB
    Memory Speed: PC2-4200 (533MHz)
    Memory Technology: DDR2-SDRAM

I cant' get the display to recognize my TV. I am trying to play a DVD on my computer and watch it on my TV. When I go to the display settings and go to the Geforce6150le tab. Then I go to the nview display settings I have it on single display and on the current display it has my monitor. I have a chose of TV but when I pick that it just goes back to my monitor. I have asked and was told that it was possable to do this.

its been a while since i had mine set up like this.

have you tried to force it to detect you tv?

then you need to change it to dual screen mode then you can drag the media player to it or right click it and choose the send to option.
