I have been looking at this tv. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...CategoryId=pcmcat31800050030&id=1110265591659 I am aware that it does 1080i. Does that mean it can do 720p automatically or will I be missing out.
Just so you know, that models is last years model (2005) and you would be doing yourself a favor is you waited for the new model (2006). The main diffence is that the new models will have built-in digital tuners. All HDTVs support 720p and 1080i resolutions but sometimes the tvs resolution can be higher or lower than the signal it is receiving. In this case though, the set is a HD-CRT (High-Def "Tube") so it will receive and display both resolutions. Ced
