Not pins in the box but the little connectors do come out have seen lots broken that way do to the scart been pulled in and out a lot of times they wear out like anything that is constantly rubbing metal against metal.

As you can see from the picture below the little brass pins in the socket itself can be pulled out from constant wear and tear

 

Ah you mean the pin clamps (you said pins ), fair enough, never seen it happen myself but I am sure it's possible on poorly made sockets.

 

spot on and any products sold from china are massed produced so yes cheap

 

Buy cheap, buy twice, seen scarts fall asunder and seen pins get stuck in the back of boxs

 

been watching the footie this last week on sly i & 2 but its been very difficult, about every 30-40 secnds it freezes and most of the time looses the signal, uual scrambled or no signal message appears then after about 5 but sometimes 20 seconds it kicks back in am on the new software !! ant one else experiencing this and an views out there, is it still a teething issue ?( it seems to happen most at night ( when the footie is on )

 

think its just because more people are watching these things mate. There is only one server running so when popular things like football matches come on everyone turns it on and the server cant cope. Been doing my head in too but hopefully they'll sort it out soon. Still better than nothing (or parting with your hard earned).

I reckon if you default your box to empty and do a brand new scan you should be fine

what are your signal and quality levels like % wise ??

 

is there any news on when other channels will be back,was looking forward to buying the kv hd box when it comes out but now not so sure

my box just frozen remote doesn't work on it can't change channels or anything what should i do??

 

have you tried turning it off and on from the switch at the back?

 

Mine does that when you first switch it on and you try to channel sure straight away . I just flick it on and off at the back
