780 boxes down

the last file is from mar 2011, Kryptview_A780_03012011.bin which is the one above,

 

Your not getting it my friend, 24/03/2011 is the latest update, BUT only downloadable by using the Installation menu and choosing S/W update.

 

That is the latest file i put up there no other file released after that except the march 2011 file which you had to download from net direct to box so that file was NOT released so you wont get it NOW as you can NO longer download from the net direct to the box at this point in time so you will have to use the Jan 3rd 2011 file for now until a net one becomes available again for downloading direct to box

What im looking for is someone who managed to download the update before the boxes went down and local to me, so that I can join my box to theres to update that way.

 

its getting confusing here???
what is latest software update that should be on the box?
and is it possible to update through box?

 

The latest update for the box is 24/03/2011 and ONLY available from going into the installation menu and then selecting S/W update.

 

if you have the 24/3/2011 or the 03/01/2011 you will get exactly the same service nothing more nothing less some where lucky enough to get the latest downloaded to there boxes before they went down so if you have either of the above on your box it will work fine no problems if you have firmware from 2010 you need to put the 03/01/2011 on it unless you know someone with a box local to you that you can do a box to box transfer but as i said dont matter either file above will work fine.

 

i have the 3/1/11, so if i want can download the 24/3/11 like tdubuk says

if you cant use the update on the net as its off use the links on post 139 if you want the box to work.

No you cant download via the net its no longer available he is not downloading anything from the net he is looking for someone in his area that has that file on it to do a box to box transfer but if you have the JAN one on there is no need to update your box will work fine with that file

as always be aware of meeting people you dont know they could turn out to be anyone inc a person working for the fraud dept of vir*** who could be setting you up so think about that before you meet

i have downloaded to my laptop but cant transfer the data, the box says fail. any idea what i am doing wrong? thanx

how can you rescan if the servers are down whats the point??

 

scanning is nothing to do with servers the servers dont run your cable feed from your provider
