    if you live in North America you know what im talking about
    So imagine a day without us
    When California lost about half of its population
    jeje who would work in your restaurants who will serve you Taco bell, a Taco Johns or even worst who would be there to give you a nast burrito in the Chipotle
    Who would work in your factories? that clean vegetables make al those products you may not give a S$%# about.
    Who would pick your harvest in arids places in California and all arund the country
    who would be here to prepare the burritos<<< for those who dont know about it The Burrito is not Mexican Food its crapy N AMerican food of course ya white North american think of it as exotic and go buy it and s@$% man have you ever taste a true chile Jalapeno

    If memory serves, you don't even live in the U.S. correct? How are you even remotely qualified to speak on the subject?

    I've lived in Arizona all my 32 years, 10 in Tucson and 22 in Phoenix. I'm in the very center of the issue you think you know so much about.


    Let me tell you a few things.

    I have absolutely zero problems with people who want to come to this country legally, that's what makes this country great. But I have a real problem with people who have so little respect for our laws that they break them just getting into our country.


    No one else will take these jobs because the wages have been driven to such low levels that they can't get by on them. Want to know why? Keep reading.

    This is an ignorant generalization. If your intention with that statement was to come off as an uninformed bigot then you did a great job. If you actually lived here you would now that most people who enjoy Mexican cuisine know where to get the real deal.

    Your entire post was one big rant against America. If America sucks so much why are there hunderds if not thousands of Mexicans trying to get in here every single day? Answer that one since you seem to be the all-knowing expert on the subject.

    You have such a sense of entitlement it's sickening. America doesn't owe Mexicans a damn thing. If they want to come here, then they can make it on their own just like everybody else. I haven't had anything handed to me. I've worked many jobs where I was the only white guy working there, all the other workers were Mexicans but I don't hear you bitching and moaning for me.

    You conveniently left something out of your stupid little rant -

    When was the last time you visited Eloy, Arizona? When you were there did you happen to visit the Detention Center there that, at any given time, contains approximately 2,000 illegals caught committing crimes here? That place is full of your little angels.


    I realize I was not very nice with what I just wrote but I'm not sorry for any of it. We have immigration laws for a reason and you seem to think that all these illegals should have some sort of special exemption. Why? Do we owe them a special exemption?

    There are industries here like landscaping and construction that love to exploit these illegals becuase they can do anything they want to them and pay them next to nothing because an illeagal has no recourse. Under minimum wage pay, no benefits, no overtime and no legal fears for mistreating employees is a dirt bag company's wet dream.


    You need to sit your butt down and think things through before you go off on an idiotic rant like that again. There are two sides to every issue and seeing some movie doesn't automatically qualify you as an expert.

    I can relate from personal experience the problems of trying to get into the US legally. I married my wife when I was working overseas. We left my stepson with his grandparents instead of bringing him with us when we went to the US. We wanted to get established first - house, job, etc and would send for him in a few months. That was a big mistake. It took 26 months from the time we applied for his resident alien visa until he arrived in the US. There is something inherently wrong with a system that keeps a child separated from their mother for over two years, but that was the only legal way to get him here, and I was not going to try to shortcut the system by attempting to enter the country illegally.

    I grew up in a small country town. We only had one Mexican in our school. His father didn't do the menial labor you described; he was an electrial engineer and was well respected in the community. The menial labor was done by the local people. My own grandmother went to work as a school janitor after my grandfather died so she could support herself instead of relying on handouts or welfare. That was the only job she could get since she was unskilled in the workplace after half a lifetime of being a housewife, but she was thankful for it. The fast food restaurants, lawn maintenance, and other menial jobs were done by the youths in town or by the spouses of people needing a second income to help their family get by. Many of the menial jobs were done by the people with no ambition. The guy that was always skipping class and smoking weed in school is the guy that maintains the city park and cuts grass in the public areas of town.

    America is a melting pot. Every culture that has come here has helped enrich the country and made it stronger. You say what would you do without Mexicans? The same could be said of any of the nationalities that have come here looking to better themselves and their families. 150 years ago it was the Irish coming here to escape the potato famine. People of the time were making the same comments you are making about them. Where would this country be without their contribution?

    The point is that we as a nation are stronger from our shared heritage and cultural contributions. Anytime you get into a we vs them mentality, whether it be cultural, racial, or religious differences, we all lose by weakening the whole. Together we stand, divided we fall.

I understand you wanting to leave your country in search of a better life, thats totally understandable. what none of you see on your way across the rio grande is that by coming here as illegals and packing 20 of you in a house you are only making this country as bad as the one you left!! I have nothing against mexican people at all, i would feel the exact same way to ANY people coming to my country illegally and taking our jobs and dropping our property value and increasing our crime rates. My company just took the last manufacturing plant out of my town and shipped it to mexico. 425 people lost their jobs here. In a town as small as mine, that hurts the economy pretty bad. I just dont understand how mexico could possibly be that bad if most of the companies in the USA are setting up manufacturing operations down there. It seems kinda silly that you all are moving here and we are shipping the jobs down there to you! maybe I'm spoiled by being born in the USA or something, i dont know. Common sense says that if your country sucks, and you all move here and pack 20 to a 2 bedroom house, and work for minimum wage or less because you dont have a greencard, then it wont be long before this country is in just as bad a shape as Mexico. So i really dont see the point in coming here at all. Why not put a little effort into making your country better? When people immagrated here in the past we had more room, a land of growth that was yet to be developed. Well guess what, we're full! Time to close the doors and get our shit together.

    **This is not intended to offend and people or race in any way, shape, or form. I love all people and feel that people have every damn right to live good clean happy lives. I just dont understand why everyone comes here without realizing they are screwing this place up too and their move will soon be futile!

    I couldn't agree with you more, darthnip.

    One thing that happens way too much here in Arizona is this scenario:

    1) A U.S. citizen goes to the emergency room but does not have insurance. He/she gets fixed and is stuck with a huge hospital bill. Most jobs that don't offer insurance are low paying ones so this person has to pay off the hosptal out of what little money they're making in the first place.


    2) An illeagal goes to the emergency room, no insurance, no citizenship, no address, no nothing. The hospital by law cannot refuse treatment. So who gets to foot the bill? Me and my tax money! And it happens all the time.

    I'm not saying in any way that these people should be refused treatment in a life or death situation but our tax money is thrown down the toilet by them being here and getting services for free while they put nothing back into the system.

    i hope no one was offended from anything I said, I am merely angry at the situation and not a race of people or a country. I would expect anyone of any nationality, race, religion, etc to feel the same way if it were happening on their home land. I am also angry that anyone would have to live in a place that they feel they must leave in search of a better, i mean come on, that just sucks no matter who you are.
