    Ok, made my first backup.

    Question for next.

Useing DVDshrink 3.5, do you have to re-author? Can you just deselect using the main screen and hit go?

I wnat to add the menu's and keep like 2 extra features.

personally I would re-author by dragging what you want into the re-author window. Has been working great for me.

I am a newbee also but I have been using a dvd-rw to practice (so I didn't make a pile of coasters) and sucessfully copyed 5 in a row.

Can you just drop the menu section in there and the movie, and the menus work?

    Thanks

Well, how do you make menu's work in DVDshrink?

Also, what about TV series DVD's that have episodes on one DVD and a menu conecting?

    Thanks

use shrink in normal mode, keep all the menus. anything you dont want like subtitles or lanugages untick. any extras you dont want set to still pictures, they will still be there just unwatchable and very small.

i have just "backed up" CSI this way and it looks very good even on 36" crt

    Thanks for the advice!

So Nobbi, when you say use shrink in normal mode, Do you mean NOT to use re-author? or use re-author and drag everything into new disc?
