didn't you see the little ":p" at the end of my sentence. i was making a bitter joke :)

it's just tough watching NSW take a commanding lead only to self implode in the second half.

guess watching the dragons also turn into mush this year had made me a little more bitter and weathered.

bring on game two. NSW should easily win. for some odd reason QLD have an inability to win at the Olympic (Telstra) Statium.

Maybe somebody should tell the NSW team that there are 2 halves..each of 40 minutes that make a "Match"....half time scores do NOT count.
When they learn to play the FULL 80 minutes they may achieve their goal of beating the mighty Queeeeenslanders, however I doubt it.

Poor NSW. I have to support them since NSW is closer to NZ than Queensland is! Bring on game two. Whatever happened to good old State of Origin scraps? Another victim to political correctness... that was always half the excitement of watching the games!

Don't you just love the biff. Its the best part of the game. Hopefully we will see more of that in two weeks time and more of it will be dished out from NSW side.

Is it true that Australians loathe rabbits as much as Americans loathe cockroachs? (I heard they were introduced by the Brits and are difficult to control because they have no natural predator.)

    Mr. Murray, time to
    [IMG]

1 win out of 5 games.
4 games lost in a row.
Time to sent this man back to Queensland (and stay in QLD!)

Typical response from a "Cockroach" supporter

The players cant win so they blame the coach

I watched the game in full and not once did I see the COACH make any missed tackles, knock ons, forward passes or any other infringements, STRANGE!!

What position will the NEW coach play??

2 Nil ...soon to be a whitewash!!

You do know he is a Cockroach also!!???

no, but IT is up to the coach to prepare the squad for the game, and he failed to do that. N.S.W played poorly last night, (QLD marginally better). It's is the coaches job to get the best out of his players and he has failed to do this in four games.

Do Queensland hold on to a coach who loses four games in a row? I think not.

Yes I do. (it would be insane to appoint a QLD for the NSW position and vice-versa_) I was just referring to where he applies his trade with the North Queensland Cowboys.

also don't think this as a personal attack on graham murray. I think he is a good coach, he has done wonders with the Cowboys, the Roosters before that, and even did well with the long lost Illawarra Steelers. but he is just not up to the job of coaching a representative football side.

And NSW are just NOT GOOD ENOUGH to beat Queensland....beware the dreaded whitewash!!!!

I do agree however it is up to the coach to get the best out of the team he is given and in most cases he is the one who is blamed should they lose. I was unimpressed with the Ref ( as was most from BOTH sides) , lets hope he doesnt get the final game.

Interesting to see the stats after 20 plus years...Qld 14 series wins
    NSW 14 series wins
    Points difference...Queensland by 5.

Personally I like to say well done to QLD and also it the time about this year and next year for NSW to bring new blood as they did with the first game give them a year or two and we will be back to our best like qld took a few years to gel for the young ones the same goes for nsw. So wait till next year and you will see it will be closer than ever.

    Well done QLD :)

NSW nearly nicked it, but to be truthful, would not have deserved it if they did.
I suppose it's clear as water, QLD is just head and sholders better than NSW at the moment.

    That saddens me :(
