I have completed my first map mod on Headlong, and was wondering. Since it's a map that comes with the Halo 2 disk, would people be able to use my mods without my version of the map?
I dont really know, i think you have to send the map to them. Halo 2 is not really a game that was meant to be modded, so they wouldnt have the feature to send user created content to other users like quake and other pc games do.
Just make a PPF of the map (guides are everywhere). Then, host it for other people. In order for people to get the map modded, they need to have Halo 2 on the HDD, and they can just apply the PPF to the map, and that mods it.
