At the bottom right of my desktop I see an icon of 2 comptuers with a red x. When I put my mouse over it, it says "A network cable is unplugged". Is that right?
It means that you have a network card installed in your computer, but there is no cable plugged into it. So your not on a network and you dont have a router etc that would be plugged into it. Nothing to worry about. CJC
you must be using winxp as those two computers represent wired & wireless network connections & if both had red x over them then you must be on a telephone modem to get on the net like here
