Hisss you can install the repos and then choose the add-ons in the repos that you want to enable , I have got boxes that come fully loaded for mates of mine , but I uninstall the add-ons and repos I don't want and install the ones that are worth keeping for e.g. some good repos here in the forum
Thanks to piopat and tongs and the rest of the crew that are working great at the moment , you can get the boxes from scratch but then you have to go to the bother of installing stuff that you need as in fusion , xfinity metalkettle and so on. As tongs says in an earlier post only enable the repos and add-ons that you want , keeps the box running smoother

Thanks again Paulie. I have had to install ixfinity myself as I couldn't see it or maybe i dont know where to look. Haven't got fusion or metalkettle yet. Will have a look for those.

Have you a link to the part of the forum which discusses repos and addons?

Also is there a way of finding out what the screen resolution is set and how to get picture to always fit the screen. I'm running on an old television using HDMI to start so quite a different set up to most of the people on here.

hiss you do have fusion installed as you stated phoenix was already on the box (this gets added via fusion).
instructions for adding xunity here >>>>>
ans some times my pictures dont always fit the screen you have to go in to video settings while a film is playing and select the one you want

I didn't know that Fusion was already installed. I've probably doubled it up because I downloaded it again. How do I find these things? I've looked and can't see it. I downloaded xunity and I can't find that on the box either. I'm totally useless. Been spending hours on it today and getting nowhere. Feel like returning the box and giving it up as a bad job. I can't even download sports devil.

Where do I find the video settings when watching a programme?

I'm at work so can't check but it's something like this. If you've already installed it. Click on settings. Add ons. Install from zip file. Click on xunity and it should installed at bottom right hand corner. Then go back to settings. Add ons. Enabled add ons and click again on xunity. should now open a folder. Click on videos. And now it should be done and it should be in videos-and ons

Also video settings when watching a film. If you press pause on your remote on the screen at the bottom will be a bar with play. Rewind. Skip etc to the right of the controls you'll have settings for sound and video. Think the video setting looks like a roll of theatre tape. Click on that and go to aspect ratio. Think I put mine on stretch 16.4 or something. Like I say I'm at work so this is all off my head

HISSS TO SET YOUR SCREEN AS TONGS SAYS ABOVE IS ONE WAY ANOTHER WAY I DO IT AND FITS ALL FILMS AND SO ON IS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN GO TO SETTINGS, GO TO DISPLAY IF IT'S SET AT 720HZ CHANGE TO 1080P 60 HZ TO DO THIS .
1, TURN HDMI AUTO DETECTION FROM ON TO OFF CLICK OK ON YOUR. REMOTE
2, GO TO HDMI OUTPUTMODE SETTINGS IF YOUR BOX IS SET AT 72O HZ. CLICK ON THAT AND A BOX WILL OPEN UP SCROLL UP AND DOWN UNTIL U FIND 1080P 60HZ. HIGHLIGHT AND CLICK OK . ALSO ON PAGE ONE OF THIS SECTION PIOPAT GIVES AN EXCELLENT TUT ON REPOS AND ADDONS

CLICK TO SAVE CHANGES , CLICK OK AND EXIT IT OUT ,
CHECK A FILM IN KODI AND SHOULD NOW FIT SCREEN SIZE Ok .
IF YOU NEED TO CHECK WHAT YOU HAVE INSTALLED ON YOUR BOX AS TONGS SAYS ABOVE. , GO TO IN TO KODI GO TO SYSTEM,SETTINGS,INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE, ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN YOU SHOULD NOW SEE A LIST OF REPO FOLDERS,, SCROLL UP AND DOWN TO CHECK WHAT YOU HAVE AND HAVE NOT
PS ALSO GOOD TO CLEAR YOUR CACHE REGULARLY FOR YOUR BOX YO RUN WITH LESS HITCHES

Thanks for your advice and patients guys, much appreciated.

I will try what you have said. Although wish I could just start over again.

Tried to install sports devil but it didn't save to anywhere. If I download it on a memory stick and insert into the box, will I be able to find the file?
