funboyste if you had a box set up for external sharing you could do what you want,if youre saying can you reshare a cline from server id say the answer is no but if you had a chat with the server perhaps for a few bob extra im pretty sure you could do so internally only.

edimax modem, you plug the dongle into this, then run a standard network cable to the dreambox. so he will have to invest first before you can set it up

i seem to be having problems with my Sub channels i cant see anything.

I don't have movies or sports but have some foriegn channels that require a Sub. Ive entered my boxkey in line 317 and have deleted the # and saved and exited. rebooted the box but get no sub channel.

    any ideas

can anyone comfirm to get my own sly card to work this is the right procedure.
    install image on dm500
install cccam and make cccam default cam
enter boxkey into line 317 in cccam.cfg save and exit.

note boxkey is an 8 digit hex number. if you only have 7 then put a leading zero. format is

BOXKEY : /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx

use b16mcc boxkey generator off www.satellites.co.uk to confirm your boxkey is correct. on another matter i advise to download flashfxp. open a blank file called cccam.cfg and just enter the boxkey line as above. save the file and transfer it to /var/etc/

it seems cccam is either not installed and set as your default cam or the cccam version you installed is not suitable for the sly card .for white sly cards you need either cccam 2.1.3 or cccam 2.1.4 (the channels wont open when using a sly card without either of these) however if only using a c line an older version than those two will suffice.

cccam is set as default and i am using 2.1.3 on darkstar11.

I think its the boxkey have used various converters now but like i said above box has 16 digit serial number and system info has 10digits in it.

ive used the b16mcc one that allows different variations of the serial number is there any other way of getting boxkey apart from the sly box serial number as the box i have only has 16 digits and the system info with in sly box has 10 digits.

you use the card number to generate the boxkey, not the serial number of the box. this is usually a nine or 10 digit number. just typr the card number into to any decimal to hex converter and add a following 0 if you only end up with 7 hex characters
