    TELNETINFO LISTEN PORT : 16000

Hi to all, this is my first post and i'd like to start by giving a big THANKYOU to Piopat, Fint et al who have taken the time to give such excellent instruction to newcomers like myself, i came across to thread by acciedent about 10 days ago, i read the tut(5or6 times) and decieded to order 2 dm500s, two days later they arrived the day after i had a working external share, and i know very little about computors. At any point in my set up where i was having problems, someone else had posted the same or similar and all were an answered, sometimes at great length. so again, thankyou to all.
p.s i'll be back with a couple of questions myself!!!

open DreamBoxedit the click options then change the ip to the one thats on the box that you want to change then click save in the bottom right then click ftp and select receive files from dreambox you will see ur channels appear on the main pannel from there you will be able to edit the numbers and simply ftp back to the dreambox
