nabilosat is a totally different image to gemini, if you still have gemini you prob wont find ccam at all on there

also it clearly hasnt flashed the new image at all

how did you do the flash? did it say it was successfully flashed

after flashing when you first plugged in dm800hd did you get flowers on the tv before the image was shown

as when i turn on my box this is the first thing i see like sunflowers

when i gave you a link for this image did you open up the link and save it before adding it to dreamup?

it shouldnt be saying anything about gemini just nabilosat
sounds like it is drunk lol

also did you click on network box in dreamup, add both ips and use ethernet cable to it?
this is how i did mine and added null cable too

No ... the sunflowers come up the screen goes black for about 20 seconds and the the GP2 gemini project wall paper comes up.... no mention of nabilo at all even though the imaged flashed and said it had - it seems to have 1/2 and 1/2? - wierd....

I am at a total loss

I had this problem a couple of weeks back when I was replacing darkstar with pli image on a DM500. Gave Pli screen at startup and then went back to darkstar when I tried to adjust settings. Flashed it again and same thing. I re-downloaded the exact same image from the net again and saved it to a different folder as I know all too well files can sometimes get corrupted during download. When I flashed it again with the new copy of the same image it worked.

May be worth downloading again from leanne's link and re-flashing.

depends of type of flash. what method are you using, example root.cramfs method saves all primary aspects of the platform in background ram before the flash occurs, and after flash inputs them into your new system. found this out to my annoyance on many occasions before i learned how to completely erase a machine and start over. on that count you should do a factory reset under the current operating system and when you get back online with your box perform a flash/erase and load your operating system of choice. then you should be in business

    Hi

Anyone any idea how to reduce or eliminate the dreadful humming noise from the tv as soon as the DM500 is connected by scart. I have a dm800hd which is perfect on both scart and dvi/hd but my two DM500 boxes (Pli image) have this dreadful background hum. I have tried eight different scart leads both expensive and cheap but the problem is the same.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

novice, humming usually is related to your tv volume being too high and your dreambox volume being too low. so first thing to do is put dreambox volume to max and then gradually reduce your tv volume. humming should disappear

the bootloader is another .nfi file as is the image itself. if you cannot lash the image you cannot flash the bootloader. when you power on the problem dm800 do you see any lighs internal within the box coming on.
