I did not succeed in flashing by web browser because the oled in front is not coming on either the only sign of life is the yellow and green led on the lan port and the fan spinning inside the box any ideas thanks again

 

no the only lights on are the yellow and green lights on the lan port at the back of the box and the fan is spinning inside the box

 

ok, issue is you need to jtag box, likewise with dm500

 

just confirm something please. when you power on the dm800 with the issue what exactly do you see on the display on the front of th box

 

when I turn on the box there is not sign of life in the front of the box at all. Please can you give me a link to the jtag box you recommended I checked the net and there were so many variations of it and I don't know what I'm looking for Thanks

 

in truth your dm800 is dead. have you no warranty

 

I got it from china directly I should be able to send it back I saw this could it be a solution to my problem

here is two solution
No ca found by 2nd stage loader
This can be done in 2 ways.

1) You have to have a working dreambox.
2) DM800_repair, you alter dreamup to be able to use greyed buttons.
Now for the first sollution.
1) Connect working dreambox DM600/DM800.
2) Open dreamup, press connect.
3) When dreambox is found by dreamup, insert Null-Modem cable in
the broken dreambox.
4) Press flash button, and chose a firmware.
5) The flash progress will probably hang, its OK.
6) Open dreamup again, connect the broken box, press connect.
7) If all went ok, you can now flash box again, (Use only serial
communication)


Now for the second sollution
1) Connect broken dreambox DM600/DM800
2) Open dreamup, press connect.
3) When you see second loader error popup, just press ok.
4) Open http://www.gsmsweden.com/forhike/sat...stage_pack.rar
5) Drag DM800_repair in front of dreamup, and press dream multimedia logo.
6) Now press the greyed Flash button, and chose firmware.
7) The flash progress will probably hang, its OK.
8) Open dreamup again, connect the broken box, press connect.
9) If all went ok, you can now flash box again, (Use only serial
communication)

Also what do you think is tha solution to the rpoblem with the dm500 it's a clone as well
working but cant flash with null or through web brouser

so_cool i got 5 dm800 from china and one of them would not work the problem was that the sim had come away from the board (bad solder)it should be in the bottom right of the box as you look at it from the front.

Hi guys i got a test c line from payserver in the uk all was good except for no sound on most of mtv chans(mtv+1/base/hits/dance etc.pic no sound) (mtv trax and mtv all have sound)i contacted the server and he says hes checking it out still no joy,even when i put my sly card in the dreambox 500 i get the same problem

 

when on an mtv channel or any channel with no sound press the audio button on the remote and you will see a few audio/language options choose english .if you unplug your box at night the audio settings will revert back ,you may be able to permanently set the audio option for these channels to english using dreambox edit.

 

press the audio button and the select the last option 3 mpeg english you should then see running after it enjoy ok Piopat got there befor me

Hi, I got two DM500S clones for my brother the other day. One is working perfectly but the other is having signal problems on certain channels. Example: Sly1 and Sly S*Case are pixelated with the 'BER' reading jumping all over the place. The dish is perfectly aligned and the other box has no issues using the same coax cable from the same dish.

I have brought the problem box home and have the same issue when I connect it to my own dish. Have re-flashed, re-scanned and the problem remains.

Just wondering if it could be a faulty tuner or if there something else which would cause this?

has any1 come across the image dreamup maxvar i got it today and you can adjust it so you can get a full epg

I am 100% newbie and don't know anything other than we can do card sharing and can watch channels free of cost. Is that true? What will it cost to setup all the system? Is it illegal and if yes how many percent chances are to get caught?

Which box is best to buy if you want good quality channels like Spy Skorts? What hardware do we need to set it up?

well all you need is this image and then from the epg setting you can change the folder where the image is stored and then you can get a 3 day epg
