Hi fintannl when i try and reactivate my network setting i get this message starting failed on 0.0.0.0.80 couldnt listen on 0.0.0.0.80 (125,address already in use)

 

Eventually i got the router to recognise the dreambox but in dcc it would not reconnect just dreambox login failed its really weird maybe the router is acting funny.

jack, indeed weird stuff. assume you have rebooted router. to be honest it looks like your image has got a bit confused, would suggest reflash with null-modem cable

 

Thanks fint will try that tomorrow rebooted router changed cables/pourts etc. i kept messing with it after i eventually got it to speak with the router but it lost ip found ip so i will try that i suppose thats the price you pay(CLONE THAT IS)

dont really agree, have used clone or may years. images can be a pain so i continue to suggest to reflash system

hi jack some times an image goes berserk ,in my experience its rarely the box (but the box can funny but not often clone or not) try reflashing but if its a dm500 flash erase first . if its a newer box such as dm800 no need to flash erase as the new image over writes the old automaticly .flash the box with the same image or get the same image from a different source .

I know this may sound stupid but when I am using DCC to install CCline do I have to be connected to the Dreambox via a null modem cable

 

no mate if your using a wireless laptop and wireless router once dcc is setup you should be able to connect to your box from any room in the house wirelessly ,have a look at the first few pages of this tutorial it explains how to setup dcc .if you have any questions just ask .

Hi guys. Quick question. I have 3 boxes in the house which all work fine.

However, I noticed an issue a couple of weeks back when I ordered Wrestlemania on sky box office. I expected the boxes upstairs to pick it up but nothing, it only showed up downstairs. Is there anything different I need to do in the config file to enable box office shows?

Hi guys

My DM800 isn't displaying Adult Channel/Playboy. I've subscribed to it, receive it fine on the Sly box but I just get a blank screen on the dreambox after the freeview has finished.

I've put my box pin in the cccam.cfg file so not sure what else I need to do. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Have to say i have moved over to the Sat side myself to try it out and to be fair to the Sat side of things all i can say is the cable side is dull the amount of channels you can receive well in their thousands not hundreds ok you have to pay a monthly sub to get them but to be fair well worth the bother in my opinion i also thought a very difficult task but after reading and following the tutorials dont know why i never tried it before i would defo recommend this for anyone that can get a dish up get a good line and your good to go but as always there is a risk involved since having this set up now cable is no longer an option for me anyways as they say once black never go back well after you try the Sat option the same applies

I am converted and convinced its the way forward now.

 

not as hard as you thought it was ?,not easy i know and not as easy as cable was but very do able with good help .wellcome aboard the satellite ship e45 and enjoy your satellite tv ,and the bonus is you still have all your many free to air channels no matter what as opposed to cable where when the channels go you lose most all channels .
