A NEWBIES GUIDE TO SETTING UP A DM500S FOR CARDSHARING

hi mate still no having much luck i tried freshly download stuff from line one and 2 off your sig and i have even tried to flash it on a diffrent pc still no joy when i download the zip files what do you recomened i open it with

 

you could use peazip which works well or winrar ,both can be downloaded from link number 1 of my signature area

 

anyone advise which is the best for server dm600 or 800 and which site would be the best to buy original not clone

 

a server is the same whatever dreambox you use except if a server is hd only (a dm600 is sd not hd ) so if you buy a dm500/dm600 /dm7020 as long as your server provides a full sd subscription which most do your fine .if you buy a dm500hd /dm800hd i suppose you want a hd sub which again most servers provide so either way you should be fine . dim i sent you a pm .

wondering if you can help me, if i have dm500s as my server (which has my card in it), and i have hd subscription, will i be able to watch HD channels in the other room with a tm-5402HD box? (via ccCAM) i am unable to receive scrambled HD channels but can receive normal SD channels. i just got the box today.

 

you can use a dm500s as a server with a card in it for a hd subscription ,that will work all tho you cant view hd channels on a dm500s (but that said some channels are sd ) .i dont know about the tm-5402 but if the dm5oos is setup for sharing and the technomate is recieving it would seem your setup is working . why the tm is only recieving sd (standard definition ) i dont know ,but it stands to reason that if the dm500s is allowing sd shares it should allow hd shares . maybe the other guys can throw a little light on the subject .

so the dm500s is able to decrypt the hd channels and share the keys to the other boxes?

i was just wondering if anyone else had their setup this way: dm500s as server sharing via cccam with a HD box that supports cccam another room (not necessarily tm-5402)

 

its actually cccam which does the work not really the box

simply put cccam reads your card and sends the decryption info to the other box/boxes ,but even tho cccam is capable of reading the card and allowing the channels to be viewed on other boxes the box which the card is in (the server)if the card is for a hd subscription in order to view hd channels on the server box it must be a hd box .

thanks for that guys ive done that part iam now stuck on entering the cline i had a test line yesterday i could not get it to work the line i tested it started with N: do i have to still put the c before it when i enter the line

I have just upgraded the image to enigma2 pcd3.1 through internet explorer flash, as I know the ip. successfully installed the image, when running ftp to find the cccam.cfg I cant find it, please can anyone help

does it say cccam on the tv screen ? you know when you can see the clock /now and next programs /hops /ecm time it should say cccam there some where (if it doesnt that indidcates that cccam is either not installed or not set as default cam ). if it does display cccam on the screen its probably installed and all your missing is the cccam.cfg file ,if thats the case you can download a cccam.cfg file from link number 1 of my signature area (there are a few lines in the file delete them and put in your c and f lines ) then pop the cccam.cfg file into var/etc in the box and restart the cam .

 

I have managed to install newenigma2 v2.3.1 and now i have cccam.cfg, but some channels for s*y m***es have no sound, any suggestions?

 

Hello mate just press audio on youre remote control and set to english,hope this helps..
