A NEWBIES GUIDE TO SETTING UP A DM500S FOR CARDSHARING

new to this card saring. i am picking up a dreambox 500 later today that is set up wiyh a 3 month subscription. is it possible for me to have a second or 3rd dreambox working without having to pay extra for c line

 

if you paid a payserver for the c line the answer is no ,they will have disabled resharing . you could probably use the same c line in two different boxes but not at the same time ,i mean if you wanted to watch pay channels in your bedroom the box down stairs would need to be switched off and vice versa but that is far from ideal .the only ther sollution is to pay for additional lines ,you would probably get a discount for purchasing multiple lines .

 

you should be getting 2 clines for approx 24 euros per month,not bad considering what a legit sub would cost.

on dreambox 500 i got no manual but on some movie channels i am getting an audio description of whats going on on the screen. is this system setting or server problem, i am an external client

 

press audio button on the remote and change the audio to english ,note that if you power your box off at night you will need to reset the audio again the next day .

the whole point of these threads is to show users how to set up their own servers so they don't put themselves in harms way of illegal card servers that will be chased down by legal enforcement. as such i resent the content of the last post. do you totally miss the point bing or are you just to lazy

Hello, can you please send this "how to" to me, and what methods can u use to send them to me, i am new at this and i want to get the dreambox. I also need to know how this thing work, do i need a sky card, server or what do i really need to get this thing working for me. I Live in Ireland and currently have an INET BOX 300S (CLONE OF THE DREAMBOX) installed by a technician but its messing up.Since they would not show me how to do it myself, i want to learn it and have the original dream box installed myself. Can you help please?

 

all the instructions are at the start of this thread from page one onwards ,have a read and digest it and if you have questions after that feel free to ask .

 

i'm getting a dreambox 500 supplied and fitted with all channels for £150 -£180, now the boxes alone seem cheap - so am i getting ripped off in this deal ?

 

No i wouldnt think so that sounds about right for box and one year sub.
Hope you know this guy cause this is not a secure way of doing business with total strangers.

 

also you wont learn a thing about cs ,and chances are this guy will pin lock your box and if he lasts 12 months or 12 days in the end you wont have the pin for the box and its unlikely the guy will give it to you .so at some stage your going to have to flash the box to reset the pin and learn all about cs (all the things you want to avoid )so perhaps if you think you have the ability to learn (with help) you would learn to do it yourself . that way you will know how cs works /how to flash your box and the ins and outs of cs . of course you need either a c line or your own card ,your own card is better but you can buy a c line .of course buying a c line has its own risks .

It is 12 months guarantee - and if it needs reprogramming after that he said £80 for next 12 months cover.Being a tightwad don't want to pay possible £80 - but it is good value compared to buying kosher?
CS heard about it but it does seem too tecchy for me - will ask the guy if he do it for me -or is that his secret?

 

Hi i just got a DM500s and flashed it with nabilosat darkstars 2 as per tutorial on 1st page, the 1st problem i have is the i cannot find astra/eurobird 28.4E but i have found astra/eurobird 28.2E in the list! my 2nd problem is when i press Nabilo image cams i do not get no list but a error message saying error downloading with the http:/www.etc address under that error message can anyone advice me what to do as i am new to this as im moving over from my cable box to sat
my network is fine and router as assigned the box with its own ip address through dhcp server
Any help would be greatly appreciated

some images say 28.2 and some say 28.4 but really they are both the same .

try putting the box in standby and then unplug it ,then put the router in standby and uplug it ,now disconnect the ethernet cable from the box and the router . now reconnect the ethernet cable to the box and router and ensure its connected correctly ,then plug in and switch on the box ,once the box has booted up and you can view free to air channels plug in and awitch on the router and let it boot up (wait about 30 seconds).now look in through the vents at the top of the box (look towards the left rear of the box and you should be able to see a little light ,also there should be a light on the router indicating an ethernet cable is connected .if you can see these lights you should then be able to press the yellow button two times to get to where you can download cccam .if you still have a problem the image may have a glitch in which case a change of image may be required .

you could change the nabilo image you have for a another ,by clicking on the first link of my signature area you can download nabilosat maxvar v8 its a newer version of the image you have ,before flashing the box in dreamup look just above where you see flash and you should see flash erase (click on that and erase the current image it only takes a few seconds )then flash as normal .

I reinstalled the image in my Dm800 and that was the box I was using to update the card in the DM500 server please whats the C line for updating the card in the server box can't remember if there is something in the syntax I'm missing
F: user1 pass1 0 0 1 { 0:0:3}
C: someserver.somedomain 12000 user1 pass1

Also is there any script I can use with the pli image to restart cccam in my server when cccam freezes thanks .

 

i am so fed up with Kv i want to try the sat option, but really do not know where to start , which box, what equipment i need , and eventually when the box is set up where do i get the cs service from??? so many questions please help...
