A NEWBIES GUIDE TO SETTING UP A DM500S FOR CARDSHARING

mojo88: Follow piopats tut and you'll have no problems in flashing your DM500. Many people on here were in similar situations but there is plenty of help available.

I have successfully installed gemini2 510 bl76, but it aint got cccam on it, any ideas how to install it?

 

jhammer02, i seem to be having the problem for the last few weeks, cant seem to track down an Image that will allow the ccams, Piopat came up with a fix but i cant remember which one, if he's on the system he might get back about it, or post a file.

 

hammer by default you cant install a cam on Gemini or dreamelite images via the addons ,but you can manually install a cam . that means you can use dream control center to put the cam file into the box .

hubbabubas try the nabilo maxvar v8 image for your box ,ive got that on a few boxes and it works fine . see if you can download it from the links in my signature area .

 

Piopat, can you advise which cccam shall I install on gemini2 5.10 dm800 bl76 sim2.10

YOU TOLD ME YOU ONLY TRIED NABILO DARKSTAR 11 ,THE MAXVAR V8 IMAGE WORKS PERFECTLY ON MY BOXES SO IM NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY IT WONT WORK ON YOURS UNLESS TEH BOX HAS A FAULT . THERES A DM500 PLI IMAGE (IT COMES WITH CCCAM PRE INSTALLED )IN MY DOWNLOAD LINK TRY THAT , DO A FLASH ERASE BEFORE YOU FLASH THE BOX .

 

how do i install this manually?

 

first you need to unzip/unrar the cccam file . do you know how to use dream control center ? if so open dcc (obviously dcc should be setup )and click on ftp , then look in the box on the left for the file called tmp and double click on it to open it .

next look in the box on the right for the cccam file you just unzipped , when you see it click on it one time to highlight it , then look between the boxes and click on the arrow that points left . all being well now if you look in the box on the left the cccam file should be in there , if it is your done so close dcc .

for the next bit go to the addons panel in your box , you should see manual install panel , if so open it and all being well the cccam file will be there , select the file to install it , installation is quick only seconds .

now exit from the addons menu back to the tv channels , then press the blue button , you should see default cam or common interface , press the right button on your remote till default cam is replaced with cccam , when you have cccam stop . now either you press ok to set the cam as your default cam or you will see an option start /restart cam . if you see restart cam select it to start cccam , but if not pressing ok button should work . that's it job done ,you can exit back to tv channels now .

 

I have tried V8 several times today,and no joy, I will try the other route, you have suggested,otherwise I think I will get another 800 DB, thanks again

I put Jade on took a bit of time, its up and running again, never had that problem before, thanks again, I will make an effort on the other box tomorrow with the jade.

sorry about that hammer mate you will just have to find that file some where else , just make sure the file is E2 (enigma2 )and suitable for use on Gemini images .

sorry to come back again but on the gemini image there isn't a option for addons, I hope the image I have installed is the right one
