A NEWBIES GUIDE TO SETTING UP A DM500S FOR CARDSHARING

Gemini images have an addons menu all that's disabled is adding cams via the addons panel . mate press blue button (to enter blue panel )and look for addons , when you find addons you should see manual install panel ,after you have sent the cam to the box look in there and you should see cccam .

 

I have checked it mate this image aint got manual install in the addons menu - got only 2 options gemini server or my server - are you able to suggest a image which may have manual install option?

I don't remember if the addons work on that image but if not don't worry you can definitely pop cccam in to it using dcc .

 

What is the filename for cccam that i have to pop it in using dcc and into which folder do put file in?

 

just flash the box first hammer and we can see if the addons allow cams to be installed via the remote , if they do then that's great but if not don't worry

Success at last. Tried few images and finally got the one which works. This image comes with cccam already in it and I have tested the image it works without fail.

This is only for dm800hd pvr with bl 76 sim 2.10 or 2.01

only the start of the experience. many better images but i know the problem. you figure one, stick with it for a bit and then wonder what u are missing

 

Any body can help how I can watch setenta sports on my dream box s , although the channel is there there is no pics

 

mojo mate do a scan , the channels move around all the time .

 

Still no luck having done full scan , got all other sly channels

 

mate did you put an up todate satellite.xml file into your box ? I gave you instructions for this some time back . new frequencies are being used for some channels and if your box doesn't have these new frequencies well no amount of scanning will get the missing channels back .

also you say the channel is there but no picture , now as I say that could be as I said above down to the channel moving frequency but if your using a c line it may be that your c line provider has for what ever reason stopped supplying this channel .

so as I said some time back you have only a few options ,
1/ put an up todate satellite.xml file into the box
2/ put up todate bouquets in to your box
3/ manually add any missing frequencies

if your problem is down to a missing frequency or frequencies then you will have to do one of the above 3 options to get the channels back , if you don't the channels wont come back . but as I say it may be that your c line provider has for some reason stopped supplying setanta , so maybe its worth contacting your c line provider to ask him if he can check everything is ok with setanta .

i ve made a mess while trying to put the satellite xl file now i ve got three on the left side of box on FTP and also i tried scanning but it wont let me help!



you will see 2 boxes of files in the picture above .the box on the left contains files in your dream box and the box on the right contains files in your computer and in between those two boxes are two little green arrows , one arrow points left and the other points right .

ok look in the box on the left and find the file called VAR and double click on it to open it , then look for the file called ETC and double click on that .

now look in the box on the right (this box contains files in your computer )find the satellite.xml file that you just downloaded and then click on it once to highlight it , now look between the two boxes and click on the little arrow that points to the left .

now you may get a message that says THIS FILE ALLREADY EXISTS DO YOU WANT TO OVER WRITE IT ? if you see that message say yes , now look in the box on the left and all being well you should see the satellite.xml , if you see the file that's it your work is done and you can close dream control center . then go to your box and do a channel scan and again all being well all missing channels will have returned . let us know how you get on mate .

im not understanding this at all mojo mate , try and stay calm and tell me what you did and what you see on your computer screen .
