About avi to dvd

    I'm reli impressed with the program DVD lab pro. But since that prog could oni open mpeg2, is there other program like dat but can open avi file to make dvd? I tried AVI2DVD bt the menu are juz too simple.
    Anyone? TQ

    Have a look here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm The program is mainly an avi to DVD program with nothing else needed so don't expect too much from the menues. The trial does leave a watermark in your video and runs slower but you can see what you think. If you have Nero, you can have a look at this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946 Orherwise, as far as I know, you'll need a separate encoding program and burning prgram, unless DVD Lab Pro burns too. Another program to look at is Ulead MovieFactory. It used to encode avi but I don't know if it still does. That was several versions ago but will author, burn and does have menu capability though I'm not sure to what degree.

    Hey, i used nero vision bt could fit 4 oni bt good program. T_T. ConvertXtoDVD reli good program coz the quality produced is so good until no lag. Thx alot. Bt can anyone teach me how to make dvd menu with a movie playing? It's juz like a simple menu bt the menu could play a short movie. Since i wanna make dvd n sell to ppl, i guess i have to make the menu abit more interesting. :p
