keysean as far as i have read there is not a new fix for cs 4k, 5k, 6k. sorry

 

dont really know wich one that gives better advice i guess

 

well we are combining the people. We will tell them to come here or we go there. Which ever thread has a better name that should be the one we use : )

 

jenni i say that we close botth and start a new thread called "COOLSAT" because people with all coolsats were on that other thread. just a thought.

just received and email from my satellite dealer.he has informed me that the coolsat codes were ready yesterday when the other coolsats bins were released,but they were not putting them out yet. he said he got this info from a japan fta forum.

 

so that means the file came out and just hasnt been released yet?

 

everyone knows that there are receivers out there that mostly never go down,and there are some out there where the coder gets them up fast.but if your receiver hardly ever comes up it is because you choose to use it. for the past 6 months this has happened,your receiver goes down,you come on here gripping.remember you choose to kept that receiver, now live with it.

NFusion is made by Coolsat, Probably the reason that the lower end models are recieving poor support, they want you to buy NFusion. I would and am wary of NFusion because it must be connected to the internet at all times to work. This means that your ip address is out there for the providers to see. When they decide to make an example of someone it could possibly be you. Can everyone say " Lawsuit " ? It's true that CS is pushing the Nfusion hard but buyer beware

I was wondering, what would be a good receiver to buy. One that has good support.

 

That you will have to figure out yourself. I have 3 different brands. A coolsat 5000,a captiveworks and a viewsat. two of them are working now.The coolsat is not. the captiveworks was the first one up.

 

rbobby, which cw model do you have? That's been one that I have been thinking about. I think it was an 800 model.

 

I have a 600 cheap is the way i go. All come up the same time and are the first to come of the ones that go down. The thing about it, next month they might be the last to come up.

 

Anyone wanting a new receiver can find all the coolsat 5000's you want on flea bay. Get them while they last.

Fact 1:
I been noticing some kind of pattern about these three machine.
Ever time a new update comes out for them, it is only for one provider.
And usually the update dies the very next day, then we all wait for another two weeks or so for a new update.
What is up with that?!?!
Fact 2:
Supports sucks more then any other FTA, EVEN PANSAT 2500!!!!!
Fact 3:
Sonicview and Viewsat don't cost that much anymore
Fact4:
We should all move on to another receiver.
Fact 5:
Only 6100, 7000, 7100, 8000, and 8100 have OK supports anything below, Coolsat doesn't care about.

I am writing this because I am tired of the lack of support from coolsat, and still 6100 and up have slower update release than any other brand! and again even Pansat is doing a better job!!!

 

so is coolsat 5000 working?
