I've pulled the 5.1 AC3 audio out of a video with vdubmod, but I really need to isolate the individual channels. I need some sound editor that will import ac3, perserving all 6 channels. Cooledit, I mean Audition, doesn't, unless I just overlooked the option. Or some little program to rip an AC3 file into multiple wavs, one for each channel, would work too. Anyone have any ideas? I've searched around but can't seem to find anything. I would just play the movie and mute specific speakers, but I don't actually have a 5.1 system.
If all you want to do is extract the 2 channel AC3 stream instead of the 5.1 AC3 stream use DVD Decrypter. Go to stream proccessing and choose the 2.0 AC3 stream. Consult this guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/184368 Ced
