Does anyone know if there is any alternative to the ac3 filter. I mean a stand alone filter to playback dvd with ac3 audio.

it's free, but found it some times, too much variable. Every time i change the movie i want to watch, i lose more time configuring it, than watching the movie. However that, i like ac3filter, but i was curius to try onother. also, because the dvdplayers don't support 6 channels for my soundmax soundcard.(i have to use media player classic, with the ac3filter).
