Action replay says there's no free space

I went to load a game that I manually added and entered codes for and it was missing! Then, I re-added the codes and after I was done, I got an error message saying: "WARNING! The action replay hardware has no free space" I Googled the problem and the only thing I could find was the same problem for OTHER game systems and it said to reset the action replay, but I found NO instructions on how to do this for the Gamecube. Any suggestion? Thanks much!

 

I tried resetting the hardware and still no luck.
