Hi all, long time reader but 1st time poster. My question is, I have recently built my wife and myself new pcs, both are the exact same hardware, included all drives, motherboard, chip. I have only one copy of xp. I was wondering if I could put the same copy on both PCs since there hardware is exactly the same?

No you can't. It's illegal. Also, the hardware items used for the activation key have unique ID serial numbers (motherboard, hdd, cpu)
