Hello. I'm curious to know of it is possible to add 2 srt files to an AVI movie and watch the film with both subtitles displayed on screen. Is it also possible to burn both subtitle srt files onto a disc and watch them both?
Adding 1 srt file is no problem. However, when I try to add a second srt file, I get a message that states,
"cannot change the name of the file. Another file exists with the same name. Please change to a different name."

    Any help generated is appreciated.

Normally the .srt file has the same name as the video [myvideo.avi and myvideo.srt] and that is the default.

You can burn other .srt files named myvideo.2.srt myvideo.3.srt etc and select the subtitles using the 'Subtitle' button on the remote - but you can only view one subtitle at any time.

Of course it might be possible to merge both .srt files and display both at the same time.
It would tend to eat up the screen though.
