hey i did eveything you said to do and when i rebooted my xbox and started the game and went to change maps i only had the old maps...i didnt have any of the new maps i used to have and i also didnt have the new map i just made by your tutorial...any help will be extremely appreciated...thanks
Disabling the auto-update makes it so you can't select the new maps. But you could use this tutorial to add them to the mainmenu along with your other maps you added.
[bold]@hmp007[/bold] Make sure the scenario names match. The one you see in DotHalo with the mainmenu.map open and the one when you hex edit the map your adding.
i did...i did everything u did but instead of FuZ3 i used hmp007 but i still dont c it but i wil try the hole thing over again and thanks for all of your help and your tutorial .....and when i put the auto-update bec on will i get my new maps back???
[bold]@hmp007[/bold] They are there the whole time they just aren't selectable because the update came out the same time as the new maps. So the answer to your questions is "Yes, they will come back."
wait so if i turn my aotu-update back on then will my map i just added be back on there or will it alreay be on there with the update off??? cause rigt now i have the update off nd i only have the old maps selectable and the map i added isnt shown but if i turn the update back on will the map i made show upo along qith the new maps???thank you for all of your help.
ok well i put the update back on and my map i just made wasnt there so i put the update off and it wasnt there...what did i do wrong???
so you have to mess with the thing in the globals\globals that says value(250)....do i just change that around alot
I need help. I'm did fine up until the part where you have to open up the matg globals/globals tab. Instead of getting the screen that you show, I get a screen that is filled with walking speed and croouching speed, there is no multiplayer maps pull-down. I'm lost, any suggestions?
