I have searched endlessly for a way to do this on mac, but only get results for a pc. I have a bunch of avi's along with matching .srt english subtitles and I want to burn them to disk to be watched on my dvd player (which plays divx).
I do not want to convert these files to dvd, just burn them as avi's on a dvd to play as divx on my player. But I somhow need to join the subs to the avi to make them work. Anyone out there know how to do it?

    I am running tiger.
    Thanks a lot!

idk how 2 get the subs on avi, and i know u dont want DVD's, but u can use Sizzle to burn an mpg file w/ subs, but it makes u a DVD. thats the only thing i know of.

by the way is ur comp intel based, or is it a g4 or higher. if its intel u can run Windows on it. that way the PC methods will be possible for u.
