I tried using the "Adding subtitles to any .avi file" guide (VirtualDUB/SRT-SSA Converter/VirtualDub Subtitler Plug-in) but the resulting file doesnt have subtitles. What could I be doing wrong? Im on Windows 7 Pro. TIA

Are the subs present when you add them with the filter (using the Preview button).
If they are present in the filter preview, are they visible on the output pane of VirtualDub before you save the file.

No, I wasn't seeing them. I checked my SSA file and it was pretty much empty. I think the problem was an error in the SRT file I converted to SSA. I downloaded another SRT, converted it, and am now running VirtualDUB again. I can see the subs in the preview now, should be done soon. Thanks, I guess I should have just slept on it :)

Yep, that worked. I just had a bad SRT file.
