adding subtitling to mpeg1 video files

    if anybody can plz help, i need a software that can directly add titles or subtitles directly to mpeg1 files(VCD) as in karaoke video clips .
    can anybody tell me if such a software exists , if not , how to be able to produce karake titling (words and scrolling )with any software else

    Permanent VCD subtitles -- this area has been covered in forums earlier, please use Search to locate those threads for additional info.

    Basically you need VirtualDub, VobSub or subtitler plugins for VirtualDub and you need to re-encode your VCD files if you don't have original AVIs left.
