I'm new at this DVD recording thing. Please help out a little here if there is anyone out there who knows a lot more than I do. I just wanna know, "what is the best brand of DVD-R/DVD+R writer (for comps) I can get to record/backup U.S.A. DVDs?" I just want to record/backup mostly DVD-5 and DVD-9's onto a 4.7 DVD-R/DVD+R disk, plain and simple. Any advice would help out a lot. Thanks.
i use pioneer 106 with no problems the method for backing up any dvd is basically the same rip, compress & burn
The best? Plextor, either the 708 or the 712. Other good brands, LiteOn, NEC, and Pioneer. Next to Plextor I prefer LiteOn. _X_X_X_X_X_[small] [bold]GO VOLS![/bold]..Dell Media4600,XP,Pentium 4 @2.80GHz/800Mz,512MB,280HDw/8MB,17"flat panel,AIO-A920,8xDVD-ROM,integrated5.1 audio,HPdc4000,PlextorPX-708UF,LiteOn832S-DL[/small]
