    Hi All
I just upgraded from a 5.1 receiver to 7.1 receiver.
I Wanna set up a 6.1 speaker system.
My question, Could I use a centre channel speaker in the middle of my two rear speakers?
    Any advice is greatly appericated.
    Thanks all.

Sure, but I'd use one that has the two woofers and a tweeter in it.
It should match your rear speakers, as close as possible.......
    You'll like 6.1, I think.
    Good luck!

    Thanks JVC

I just wanna go with a 6.1, don;t really have room to properly set up a 7.1 system.
I have all energy exl series speakers now, but it seems they don;t make this line anymore. But I will pick up an energy centre channel and see how that goes, I just hope the timbre matches ok.
