ADVICE on which DVD-R burner to buy?

    I must be reading your question wrong. You say you have a stand alone DVD player, and [bold]it says it plays DVD-R's[/bold], and you want to know if it will play DVD-R's?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]"Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software."[/small]

    I want to know if anyone has a burner and sucessfully played in a Panasonic player. The reason is, from what I have read here and other places that some DVD standalone players won't play discs from a DVD-R burner and I want some idea which one will do this.

    Most of the problems people experience have been either somebody doing something wrong in the burning process, or having a DVD player that doesn't support DVD-R's. Your player lists DVD-R's as supported, so I wouldn't worry about it.
