I am hopeing some one can help me, I have moved from south dublin to north dublin. I had the box 2 working great in south dublin but not in swords. I have got broadband in swords with upc and I thought I could have got the box 2 working as well (not the case). I went down the pit in the street to check for any cables disconnected (none). I have gave up on the box 2.
I have an aerial on the roof and I am wondering what would be the best box to get and with auto roll function?

    Thanks for the help

There is n*l mmds in Swords and a cable box is needed.
A T or TX box is the wrong one.
The scan is different to normal cable.

There is no ch*rus mmds available in the Dublin region.
If you get broadband from upc your feed is connected to true cable and not to that aerial.
In Swords there is exCh*rus cable and you have to use the scan for ch*rus BF.

A starview-t box is senseless for Dublin.
Connect your box to your broadband feed and do a scan for ch*rus.
Btw a mmds aerial is not working without power inserter.

Hi , i live in swords and have an mmds aerial that picks up NTL using a normal eurovox . The aerial on your roof most likely is missing its power supply thats if its an mmds aerial .http://www.satandcable.co.uk/s/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=80.Your your box should work with it , your aerial should be pointing north...hope this helps you
