    Hi All,

I unrar 3 cd's and each one has a BIN and CUE file...So I used Alcohol 120 to burn them, I also burned them on a slow speed (8x)... but when I go to play them in my DVD player the picture is all broken up and blocky and un-viewable as the sound is out as well...

I figured all I needed to do is to burn these files?

Do I need to have the correct codecs on the system for me to view it on a DVD player if I'm just burning it?

    Thanks for any help!

This Can Happen if the Person who Created the Files used Too High of a Bitrate for your DVD Player to Handle...This is One of the Reasons why VCD"s and SVCD"s Suck as I had Nothing But Problems with all of the Hundreds of VCD/SVCD"s I made but when I burned these Same VCD/SVCD"s to DVD they Played Back perfectly.....

It might be a Good Idea to Try to Put these Files on to DVD as Opposed to CD-R as you will have better Playback and you can Fit up to 4 full VCD Movies on a DVD and up to 3 Full SVCD Movies on a DVD-R...

If you go to the "Guides" Section you will see several Guides on How to Put VCD/SVCD Images on to DVD without re-encodeing them....

If you Don"t have a DVD Burner you can get one for about $39 or even Cheaper used....
