After formatting hard disk, couldn't access the back up files

    I formatted my pc's hard disk last night and installed the windows XP pro in there. Before formatting i had created a back up folder for my previous works in DVD.Now , when i tried to open that folder, it is giving me a error message like " Access Denied".
    Please help me to open that folder.

    BTW i had windows XP home before..

    Just a wild guess, but did you close the session on the DVD? What program did you use to create it?

    yeah i finalized the session on the dvd with Nero Express
