    @dRD

    aD Tee Shirts can be produced here in the states through many vendors and sold with very reasonable shipping and the monies those vendors collect can be sent back to aD "Check In The Mail." Can't you just set that up and list "A" vendor here in the US to purchase one from? Most printed Tee's actually run under $10 to make using quality materials. Or do what Newegg.com does and get some nice baseball caps out in the market here.

    I wouldn't mind at all spending even 70 (Canadian, yes lets not get to happy) for a shirt as long as it's decent quality :)

    The T-shirts we have have embroidered logo at the front (so, not printed/pressed) and pretty much the whole back of the shirt is one enormous print. Getting it right even with a proper printer/shirt company was rather difficult, as the back of the shirt has interesting feature in it, that requires certain level of contrast between gray and white. Thus, as a summary, most we-print-your-shirts-for-free-and-make-it-possible-to-sell-them-online schemes will fail miserabely providing to those standards. Which means that if/when we do print a new set of shirts, we'll do it locally and sell them ourselves, using Paypal as the payment option.

    It was all going swimmingly, then Paypal was mentioned! AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!. That's a shame!
    I would have spent a hundred or so dollars on a nice polo shirt, paypal, nothing but trouble. that's me out of the race.

    pulsar: Well, another option is wire transfer. Within EU, not a problem (as wires between EU banks are either free or almost free and take max 3 days to arrive), but for people outside EU it might cost too much, considering the previously mentioned facts (high shipping costs, costs due inevitable returns, etc). And checks are out of question, even local cheques were abolished in Finland back in 1991 and cashing a foreign check costs stupid amounts, basically cashing an American check worth less than $150 is waste of time.

    Credit cards could be an option, but I think that there are many members who do not have, or have access to one. Wire transfers at my bank cost around $40. Personally, cost is not really an issue with myself, as I have a reasonably large disposable income each month. Most here do not have that luxury, I would imagine. I would set up a PayPal account JUST to get some Afterdawns' goodies. I would not do it in any other circumstances though!

    I guess it is easy for people to want these things & expect it will be easy to arrange, not so unfortunately! As most here are in there free time, it would be too much of a burden for many to commit the time for that too. Returns & faulty goods can be a problem, you need to source a good supplier. Would the supplier send the goods to the customer, or would you need a seperate team to do that? The questions & potential problems are a nightmare!

    This a cracking forum with some top people at the helm, it would be nice to have some goodies to "gel" the club together. How many other people in your town would have an Afterdawn shirt? None! People would ask you what the name refers to! Nice to have a little individuality in life.

    PS, just a quickie regards the profile page, I noticed that you know how many people are on your buddy list, but not who, or am I missing something blindingly obvious?!!

    You forgot to mention that the t-shirt itself is incredibly high quality. Despite being signigicantly thinner material than any other I own it's more durable and comfortable than any of them.

    I'm certainly interested and like Pulsar I'm not too keen on the paypal idea. Since getting one might not be eminently possible then how about a pic of one (back and front), so the rest of us can drool.

    I would love an Afterdawn T-shirt, thing is though, it's fairly difficult to have tshirts like these sent to Scotland, UK even. There's tons of them on Jinx i'd like but the shipping is just far too much.

    Very stylish looking shirts. I agree that the back looks pretty cool, no doubt about it. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.) Sign me up, as my Paypal feels a little neglected lately. (I'm actually refering to the bank account, not to ...never mind.)[bold];)[/bold]

    Kudos on the highly enlightened signature. You know, "Uncle Albert" may very well have been our sharpest tool in the shed.
