@Glitched No, there has to be some penalty for blatent dis-reguard of AD rules,, constantly.. Taking away status is really only saying you probably never had any real status here Glitched, and wont get it by posting under a new name either. We know you, we see you. Like I said in another thread I am one of the recipients of Glitched’s indiscretions. I believe that I’m one of whom Lethal has made mention. Either Glitched/gpatel has problems which require more than reactivation of his account to rectify or he’s just plain.....well unpleasant. Even though his new demeanor is a far cry from that of his old persona, I believe in the old adage which states that, fool me once....shame on you, fool me twice....then shame on me. I’m not about to engage in self castigation for being naïve so I can’t say that I’d be enthused by his reinstatement providing it were humanly possible. In parting here’s a little story: [bold]A scorpion and a toad stood on one side of a large pond with both wanting to get across. The scorpion then asks the toad “can I hitch a ride on your back, since you’re heading across”. “Absolutely not” retorts the toad, “because you’ll sting me and I’ll die”. The scorpion denies any such intention since that would be suicidal and he’d drown and die as well. The toad pondered on it and then relented and agreed to take him across. About half way across the pond the unthinkable happened meaning the scorpion stung the toad and as the venom paralyzed the toad he said to the scorpion, “why’d you do that, we’ll both die”. The scorpion responds with a wry smile, “it’s just my nature”. [/bold] Nuff said. P.S. : Just in case anyone missed the secondary moral, it’s a pond so the scorpion had the option of taking the long arduous way around.
Yes you were. I mentioned four people. Since then, three have come forward - That says a lot in itself. I didn't want to mention names, so not to make you guys feel like 'baddies' in the situation and have Glitched accusing you of 'victimising' him..
Lethal I absolutely respect that and I thought as much. I had reservations about posting in this thread since it might seem vindictive but I certainly didn't lash out at him then and I wouldn't now either. I however felt compelled to say something. You know it never dawned on me until now but maybe he was harbouring ill will because of this. Hmmmmmmmm?, for the record no harm was implied or meant. Btw Doc, you were also in that thread. @Jamzbond i always look forward to reading your contributions on here, as i've mentioned to Lethal_B in the past, your grasp of the english language and how articulate you are in your posts really impressed upon me~ anyways, i "type my responses" on here in a way which i feel MOST people will be able to understand/comprehend~ be it "simple english" or a more complex way, you can't please them all~ LOL have a good one my friend, i think all that needed to be said has been stated; i sincerely wish glitched all the very best in finding a suitable niche' where he can feel welcomed and "belong to" docTY~ edit yea, i was wasn't i? LOL all this talk bout pumpkin booties had me distracted for a second there~ hehe i don't think it's much of a conspiracy as i THINK that glitched just "hops around" from forum to forum putting his "2 cents" in wherever he deems appropriate, often times not even being able to recall where he last posted i wouldn't go so far as to put Glitched in the category of "critical/analytical thinker" to prove or disprove this theory LOL, i think he has NO recollection of what he's ever wrote in various threads UNLESS he has a genuine interest/affinity for the topic at hand~

i completely agree, but to "hang on to the past" because of a certain "liking" for a particular "screen name" and how it was specifically spelled...c'mon, that's a bit immature now don't cha think? but to reform as a "better person" and provide REAL assistance to others that need it would definitely add credibility to the "new and improved" character/username~ i would definitely have more respect for someone that had such dramatic change in character/personality from one name to the other over a whiney baby pleading to get his "old name" back~ docTY~
Btw Doc, I just read the addendum in your 2nd to last post in response to my own addendum and I'm cracking up. The reciprocal goes without saying as I too thoroughly enjoy your posts which are often quite humourous.
