The screenshots look GORGEOUS, it's no Half Life 2 but imagine the same number of soldiers in COD running around in those graphics.. *drools*

    I have no problems over here, I'm running a X800! =D

Finished Brothers In Arms a few days ago.

Instead of writing out a huge review that no one is going to read, I am going to put the bottom line.

It is not a game for everyone, and for those that do love it so very much, it is great but not perfect. Supress the enemy before you move in. =D

From what I've heard, multiplayer is as perfect as one could wish for, APART from the fact that you HAVE to supress the other squad before you strike. The problem is that the bullets don't register on unsupressed squads behind cover.(weapons so innaccurate that it's unrealistic)

They are both more or less the same games, albeit with higher resolutions and being able to play with a mouse and keyboard.

I am absolutely horrid with FPS's on the consoles but quite good on the PC, and it really detracts from the experience for me when I know I can do so much better on the PC while I'm strugging trying to get a headshot with those fiddly sticks. =D

Just stumbled on this little gem by an INDIE, yes you read that right, an INDIE developer. This is great fun for an idle afternoon when you're waiting for something to finish download etc.

Download and play the demo. You'll see what I mean, it has all these little innovative quirks and it's as addictive as hell. And only 9MB! =D

So.. much.. fun.. must.. stop.. seeing.. heads.. explode. If you've ever tried Brainbread and liked it, you'll love this and realise Brainbread is pure crap compared to this!

XBOX2/PS3 game. It looks amazing. It "sounds" amazing. (Haha, read the article and you'll get my pun.. I love my puns. =D) It probably will be a killer launch app.

    Call of Duty 2: http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=24570&mode=thread&order=0

New Pariah trailer (titled "Single Player Demo") out, again, it looks excitingly awesome. I wonder why I'm so excited about Pariah...

From now on I'm going to update this thread daily or every two/three days, it depends on what's happening in the gaming news. I might relaunch my website soon though.

I'm nearly done with SWAT 4, but I can tell you that my review will say very good things about it!

    Also this from www.worthplaying.com

    'Half-Life 2: Aftermath' Revealed

The latest PC Gamer UK's issue has no less than 10 pages dedicated to what now seems to be a confirmation on the next, one of many no doubt, Half-Life 2 expansion packs. Half Life 2: Aftermath will pick up where the original left off and, as has been rumoured for a while, will feature an all-new story line with the focus on Alyx, although not necessarily alongside Gordon Freeman. While no release date has been set, strong indications are that it may only be available through Valve's online delivery system, steam (thanks ve3d). You can read more about it over at EuroGamer, who has reprinted some of the article content.

I would like to bring attention to... two new demoes!

First one is House of The Dead 3. Definitely a blast of fun... but that's about it. If you don't like lightgun games using the mouse, stay out of the way!

    http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096481409/

Secondly... we have the ever popular Psychonauts demo! This game is VERY different, you'll just have to read about it to understand the concept and gameplay.

    http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096481411/

Also... unless you've been buried under a rock, you probably have heard news of Newground's stab at console gaming! It has been getting some "It's great... but there's so much beautiful hand drawn animation that I see what's going on!" reviews. Now you get to see it in action to witness the horrifyingly insane *drum roll* Alien Hominid in an excellent GameTrailers video review!

    http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=1545

And now.. another demo?! Damn right bish! I bring you.. well actually WorthPlaying does, but nevermind all that. I BRING YOU, RESTRICTED AREA DEMO!! If you don't know what it's about, read my first post AND google around!

I feel not the need to be fanciful today! So I'll keep it brief.

First up, Ghost Recon 2 cancelled. Goddamn, I was really looking forward to this.

    http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096481417/

Second, if you want try out Snowblind, demo's been released! I haven't played the demo so I don't know whether it represents the full experience of the game or whether it's a demo that doesn't do justice. Read my opinions above about the game.

    http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096481414/

    That's all folks!

Mark your virtual calenders for Friday, because it's Pariah multiplayer demo time!

Area 51, one of my most anticipated FPSes goes gold!

    http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=24698&mode=thread&order=0

Here's a newly released trailer to go with that link! :D

I also played the Psychonauts demo. The humour is a bit kiddy, but think of it like Disney; so it's well recieved. The voice acting is brilliant and the gameplay is definitely one of the more unique games out there. Graphics aren't the best, but they're sharp and the animations are insanely wonderful.

First up, we have the list of titles at E3 2005! Sure as hell wish I could go... not just for the Booth Babes either!

If you don't want to read through all the titles showing at E3 and find out what RPGs there are, here's a list with descriptions!

    http://www.cgonline.com/content/view/784/2/

And looks like Nintendo is using the old "delay time bish!" tactic.

    [bold]No Revolution At E3 [/bold]

... and then there were two. Citing fears that Sony and Microsoft might copy some of the revolutionary ideas, Nintendo head honcho Satoru Iwata decided to withdraw previous statements and has now decided to not show the new Nintendo Revolution at E3 next month. Instead, visitors will have to be content with rolling demos of titles in development, a better look at the Nintendo online service, new Pokemon titles, and a new playable version of the latest Zelda title. We will be on site and report live if anything exciting does happen.
