Alien movie back up problem

I’m trying to back up the movie Alien SE, the one with the director’s cut. I used dvd decryter to extract the main movie from the disc, I did have anydvd running. Then used ifo edit to strip away the unused audio. Finally, used dvd2one to burn it. The quality was excellent, but while playing the final result, the movie would start repeating chapters.
Somewhere along the line I ended up with 41 chapters, from a movie that only has about 21 chapters. Any suggestions?

 

I suggest using the dvd decrypter would much be easier try it.

 

I use DVDFAB decrypter 3.2 for decrypting, and dvd shrink 3.2 for shrinking, thats all you really need. I never had any problems.

 

You probably ended with both versions which are on that DVD.
