Here is what you need to do if your still getting the updating % Message

    Compliments of Noelyf (the genius)

    Menu > 1570
Turn emu off & exit to channels, (wait till you see scrambled or bad channel)
    Menu > 1570
Go to Set default key > press ok
    Turn emu ON
Exit to s*y Two & it should update.

The eurovoxes seem to be auto updating, so you shouldn't have a problem. Have you put it on a scrambled movie channel and left it for a few minutes to give it a chance?

y'ole originals should be giving the bother id say, newer ones seem to be updating on any channel as normal.
remember for best signal when updating to remove your splitters and have a direct feed, simplest of things usually do wonders!

Codes rolled today, so far on other boxes its just a matter of finding the channel with the strongest signal to get it to kick in, you've mentioned a few that have worked for others, its a process of going through them and finding what works for you. also try s*y two, chnnel 4. etc.

Yeah ive gone through all the channels.Really thinking its the firmware or software. Not sure what the latest is for a cloned starview.

Anyone have any ideas what version is needed?

and if so what ones are it in eamo's library?

Im always a bit weary of putting things on my cloned box.

DesB, Im in Dublin and was constantly in the data is being updated' state since yesterday. I turned off emu, exited then went back and turned it on again, but it still didnt work, however then I seen your post and went to s*y Two and after 5 seconds everything was back. Any reason why selecting s*y Two worked and not the other channels? I was previoulsy selecting s*y sp**ts 1.
Thanks for the posting regardless, Happy viewing over Xmas :))

S*y Two seems to do the trick for most people, I think you need to find the channel with a strong frequency and just leave the box updating istelf ( it should go into 'data is being updated' state). You can check the freq strength by pressing the 'sig' button on the box console.
