Yeah you will be fine at that resolution.

The computer is alright. The memory is kinda slow, and you wont be upgrading anything on it with that PSU. But it will work for your purposes.

Indeed, the PSU means you won't be able to upgrade anything until you replace it, but for now at least you should be able to run everything at that resolution, Crysis included.
    1280x960 though.... ugh

Yeah this new one is better. More RAM, and more HDD space.

yeah and about the same price... the only difference is that the old one has "overclocked" graphics and I have not idea what that means but I doubt its worth more than 2 extra gigs of ram and 640 extra gigs of hdd space

You can overclock it yourself with Rivatuner.

I don't like the quality of Acer products, or overclocked GPUs. Stick with Gateway.

The Gateway was the overclocked GPU.

And I have owned Acers. The quality is fine.

Depends on the product. Their CDRW drives have been poor, and I dislike a lot of their monitors.

Yes, it meets the pixel format (just), but must be under 50KB, yours is 154.

It's 500x100 when you have text.

Hey if they make me correct mine, I'm gonna be picky too :)

Quite right - yours is technically six lines, but remove one of the spaces and you'll be fine.
