ok thanx alot wel I need to find a video card that will let me hook a tv to it you know the red yellow and white cords
oh really quick how fast is this cpu also Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+, 2500 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
It sucks. Simple as that. Honestly the BEST AMD X2 cpu cant beat the CHEAPEST core 2 duo just because the Core 2 Duos can overclock so much.
Just thought I'd mention, it's not all about the clock speed, far from it. If anything, I'd ignore the clock speed of any CPU, just go for de facto reviews of how fast it is. It's pretty easy to sum up: Any Athlon X2 is better than any Pentium D Any Core 2 Duo is better than any Athlon X2.
Unless you live in the UK, in which case you have to go specifically to http://www.tomshardware.com/us/ The UK version of the site is a shoddy rip off of the US site, but all the graphs are wrong, half the links are broken, and half the articles never uploaded.
man you guys really have it bad! You know while we are on the subject of PC prices. My cousin back home in Pakistan recently purchased a computer. It was a E4500, 80gig HDD, 2 gigs of RAM, a 600W PSU, and a case. I don't know what video card. He got the whole PC for the equivalent of 250 USD.
You can get that lot without the PSU for about £140 here, so not too bad. It rather depends what the PSU was though.
alright well after all this you guess helped me out alot ummI still want to know if there is any video cards that will let me plug a cord from it to the tv like the red white and yellow cords so yep other then that a great sound card I guess and any other cards that are cool
No graphics cards come with composite adapters for the TV. However, most have S-Video ports and often come with an S-Video to composite video adapter (the yellow connector) so you can attach them to TVs. Only the yellow connector is video. Red & White are for the sound, so to use those you need a 3.5mm -> RCA adapter. These are quite cheap and can be purchased from any electronics store.
Except for the fact that it will look HORRIBLE. Most video cards come with a DVI port. If you have a HDTV then just get a DVI to HDMI adapter and connect it with a HDMI cable.
I would guess if he has an HDTV he wouldn't be asking for composite video. Composite is about the lowest quality method of standard def TV, let alone HD.
Yeah but what if he doesn't know any better? He mentioned somewhere before that he had a budget of 2 grand. If a person can afford a two thousand dollar PC, I'm guessing he probably has a HDTV.
