Am about to throw my laptop out of the window!!

Have downloaded some avis of South Park and want to put them onto DVD.
I have then used Dixtodvd convertor and then burned onto DVD using CDBurnerXP.

They work on my DVD player but on no other player that I have tried that normally play copies?

Should I use Nero v6 which I have, however when I try to use Nero to burn these vob files(which I presume are made from the conversion) it says it is not a valid file?

I could do with an explanation as to which files to use to burn, do I need the other bup and ifo files?

Sorry if this an obvious question but please help me

Theres is a guide at my website called converting AVI to DVD compliant files. i think you just may doing something wrong in your process (more than likely the burning process) Take a look at that guide and then give it another go and let me know how it works out for you.. Link to my sight is in my sig.. :-0

    Thanks for replying.

I am trying the process now from scratch.

If I am burning 6 episodes, do I need to have the bup and ifo files for each episode or just the vob files for each episode and 1 bup and 1 ifo file?

Once you run them threw DivXtoDVD you will have all the files you need. There is also a guide at my site that shows how to do episode disks or spliting. Its in the DVD Shrink 101 area..
