Am I the only one who would like to see a Nero Forum?

    Seeing as it is [bold]the[/bold] burning app (yes, I know there are others), and has a ton of excellent, useful other features (eg, Recode...anyone who checks my posting history might notice I'm a Recode fan), I think it deserves its own forum.

    I mean, Shrink has its own forum, and it's not even being updated anymore.

    What do you think?

    I wouldn't say it's the burning app (Copy To DVD or ONES anyone?) but it's certainly the most popular.

    I think it's a great idea since it'd give our highly esteemed Nero tech (ccampbell) a single place to work his magic instead of having to cross multiple forums as he does now, bless his heart :)

    I would have to agree as well about having it's own forum. It would definitely clean up other areas of the forum.

    Doesn't sound too bad. I think we might need a separate main category soon as well for "Software specific forums" or something. I might add the Nero shortly, probably should go under DVDR category or Digital Video or...?

    Btw. Neph, you mentally prepared to move gazillion Nero threads to the new forum?-)

    while you're adding, I personally would do a bit of rearranging of the DVDR section. I know alot of newbie issues get posted in the advanced section. My belief is that maybe part of that is due to the location..the first DVDR category. I would rearrange it to something like this:
    DVDR for Newbies
    Nero
    DVD Shrink
    DVD Media
    DVD Authoring
    DVD One Click
    DVD2One
    DVDR Advanced

    Just a suggestion.....Hope you consider it.

    I'm looking forward to it. Until there is a Software section, I respectfully suggest it go in DVDR, if only because I imagine a lot of people with Nero questions would go to that section first.

    Incidentally, I also like zippyd's idea about rearranging the order of the forums.

    Copy to DVD here, I think it is an excellent program for burning. But on the topic, I would like to see a Nero forum there are so many questions on the app and they are spread out through too many threads. Maybe if they were contained, ccampbell would be able to give more advice :~)

    Those of us who don't use Nero would also benefit by not having these queries interdispersed throughout all of the other fori.

    Absolutely, a Nero forum will keep me from spending hours experimenting with all the great things one can do with Nero. O', wait a minute, maybe that's not such a bad thing.

    I would say NERO does need its own forum.

    but for other programs like nero it depemds on the ussage and intrest really.

    but with nero yes i agree we need one to organise it a bit better...
