I just recently build an Amd64 machine. I am in the works in installing windows 64 bit verison of xp pro. I got the cd amd put it into the cd-rom hoping that i could install it from there. It didn't work out it want an page that said my system was not starting correctly I had a choice to make Profile 1 or nothing; so ok it wasen't a choice. I choose profile and windows booted up as normally. I then went to my computer and double clicked on my cd-rom and I got an error message says that it was not an valid win32 application. I have to boot it as a cd several other times and keep the error screen. Any body have any tips on installing 64 bit verison of windows.
