amp go's onto protect when at hi volume

    hi for sum reason when i play music at high volume on my amp it will cut out and protect will cum up on the screen of the amp why is it doing this it only happens when i put the volume past 50

    Going into protect mode is usually caused by a frayed speaker wire.
    Double check all your speaker connections, on back of receiver, and on back of speaker. Make sure a single strand of wire isn't touching something it shouldn't. If you don't see an obvious wire, disconnect them all, one at a time, re-twist them, and re-connect them, and see what happens.

    sounds like something i would have posted in response!!!

    are you following my threads JVC ? lol

    anyway, he is right.. check all speaker wire leads, on both ends, speaker and receiver..

    is it an older amp?
    any recent changes of moving around of stuff?

    ok i'll have a look at it tomorrow the only thing that has changed is my sub and the amp is less then a year old

    oh yeah soz for not gettin back to ya i forgot.yeah everything works fine now no problem thanks for your help guys
