    Well they are starting to release some BD (BluRay Discs) from the movie studios. No players available yet (at least in North America) until the spring. The discs are expected to be a bit pricey as with any new product on the market. When the players are available, they should be able to play all formats. Here's a link to the site:

    Interesting read, I think I'll hold back on this for a while to see which way the players go...

    I read an article on a forum about Ultra HDTV! its 16 times the resolution of HDTV and takes up 3.5 TB of storage for 18 Mins!!!

    only in development right now but its promising a future of upgrading equipment forever :) I'd be willing to bet that in 4 or 5 years bluRay and HDDVD will be say on my shelf with all my floppy disks! while I save up for an ultra HDTV writer
