Animal Crossing Turnips!

Hi!! In AA-WW thier are turnips like red turnips and that! where do you get them from in the game? im looking for them because some guy well animal lol asks me for some food and i gave him fish and he ate it.... and then he ass for "RED TURNIPS" and on other Threads i see people discussing about these "TURNIPS" and i dont know where to get them from...anyone know how or where to get them from? and MY GATE IS OPEN RIGHT NOW SO IF ANYONE WANTS TOCOME AND SHOW ME IN THE GAME PLEASE FEEL WELCOME!
